KROOS: WE ARE BETTER

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has begun the mind games for his club after saying that Bayern Munich are much better than Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Dortmund are currently leading the Bundesliga table this season and look on course to lift the second consecutive title.

They will be taking on Bayern Munich on Wednesday. It is probably the only remaining chance for Bayern Munich to catch the leaders at the top of the table, which has led to some intriguing mind games between the two camps. German international Toni Kroos, who has been in sensational form for Bayern Munich this season, has said that his club and teammates are much better than Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich will be coming into the match trailing leaders Borussia Dortmund by three points. They could move level on points with the current Champions if they win the match, but another possibility would be that they will be six points behind the leaders if they lose the match. Bayern Munich have been having a terrible away form this season, which has prompted many to suggest that Borussia Dortmund will see off the threat from Bayern Munich in the match. Toni Kroos, though, reckons that it will be down to the quality of the players in both sides, which is significantly better at Bayern Munich according to the midfielder.

“We’re totally focused on Dortmund, and we know we absolutely can’t afford to lose, you sense that everyone in the team knows the importance of this match. There’s a lot of media hype about this game, but that’s completely normal. It’ll be very tense, All that counts is that we’re in superb shape, and we’ve won a lot of matches in a row. We travel to Dortmund in good form. Obviously, we’re wary and we know how good they are. But we’re still just a little bit better in terms of footballing quality,” said Kroos.
