The Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has said that he is extremely confident that Bayern will lift the Bundesliga title this season, but he is not sure only when it will happen.

After losing to Borussia Dortmund in the last two seasons, Bayern Munich have been able to completely overpower their opposition this time around. The team has just one loss in the 25 league matches, while they have also conceded just 10 goals in the process. This imperious form has left them 20 points clear at the top of the table. Bayern came into the weekend on the back of a 17 point advantage over Borussia Dortmund.

They managed to extend the lead to 20 points after the second placed Dortmund were defeated in their match against Schalke. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, enjoyed a 3-2 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf. Bayern were in danger of losing only their second league match of the season after conceding an early goal to Bolly.

However, the winger Thomas Müller equalised for Bayern Munich just before half-time. Just when it seemed that Bayern would get the expected victory in the second half, they were shocked again when Lambertz scored in the 71st minute. However, goals from Franck Ribery and Jerome Boateng helped Bayern seal the win. Their odds of taking the title have now dropped to less than evens on Unibet.

“There is no question that we are going to win the title this year, we just have to see when that will happen,” said the Bayern Munich midfielder. Bayern will now how to face Arsenal in the last 16 round of the Champions League. They lead Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate from the first leg. As a result, they are the favourites to progress into the quarter-final stage of the competition where they will face the likes of Real Madrid and PSG. The 23-year-old Kroos has scored six goals from Bayern this season.
