In the debut season of Toni Kroos as a player of Real Madrid, the German midfielder helped Real Madrid on lifting the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup which are important pieces of silverware but none of them are considered to be huge or major titles compared to the Champions League or La Liga.

Real Madrid’s latest season is contemplated of being an underwhelming one and this is evident by the fact that Carlo Ancelotti was sacked as the Italian manager failed on giving his team any truly important or significant titles.

Toni Kroos was signed by Real Madrid on July of 2014 for a transfer fee of €25 million. The original purpose of why Real Madrid signed Kroos was to use him as replacement of Xabi Alonso and so far things have been going well for the German midfielder as he has made a huge influence since arriving to the Santiago Bernabeu and he is even named as: ‘the pass master’’.

The German midfielder is a sublime midfielder who is able to connect all the dots in the pitch and establish a solid connection between all the players.

Toni Kroos is able to control the pace of a match and even though he does not steal the show or score as many goals as other players such as C.Ronaldo or Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos is the silent soldier who keeps things as they should be without necessarily being at the spotlight.

Kroos has attracted the attention of other clubs but he won’t be leaving Real Madrid anytime soon as he signed a contract with the Spanish club which expires in 2020 and Real Madrid has no intentions of letting him go anytime sooner.
